Great Place to Work Badge

Senior Finance Analyst, Hospitality

ATG Entertainment is an exciting, fast-paced company, and we are searching for the right candidate who can match our enthusiasm for growth and success!

We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our Commercial Finance team, based at our Shaftesbury Avenue office in London.

This role would suit an ambitious and commercially minded analyst, from a finance, data, strategy or consulting background, who can act as a true thought partner to the Hospitality leadership team — someone who compiles and digests information quickly, delivers clear recommendations, and thrives in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.

This role reports to the Senior Business Partner – Hospitality and will work closely with the Hospitality team and the wider Commercial Finance team.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Hospitality team to deliver rigorous commercial analysis, including venue performance, food and beverage profitability, and cost and operational efficiency.
  • Build robust, flexible financial models to quantify the commercial impact of new Hospitality initiatives, including business cases, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and post-implementation reviews.
  •  Cut and interrogate large datasets (sales, pricing, volumes and costs) to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Design and build dynamic, self-serve dashboards that track the performance of Hospitality initiatives and give the leadership team clear, real-time visibility of key KPIs.
  • Interpret financial and operational data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations for the Hospitality team.

Your skills, qualities, and experience

  •  Experience in hospitality, retail, leisure or another fast-paced, consumer-facing sector is desirable.
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude to accelerate analysis and drive sharper commercial insights.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills, with a track record of building models from scratch to support commercial decisions (e.g. business cases, pricing, scenario and sensitivity analysis).
  •  Highly numerate, with the ability to cut, cleanse and analyse large, complex datasets and turn them into a clear, compelling story.
  • Proven ability to build dynamic, interactive dashboards (e.g. in Power BI or Excel) that are intuitive for non-finance users.
  • Experience in a commercial finance, data analytics, strategy or similar analytical role, ideally within a PE-backed or high-growth environment, with the ability to hit the ground running and deliver at pace from day one.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Able to work independently and own analysis end to end, from framing the question to presenting the recommendation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders.
  • Resilient, adaptable and proactive, able to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. complex formulas, Power Query, pivot tables) and strong PowerPoint are essential; experience with SQL, Power BI or similar data tools is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with TM1 Planning Analytics would be a further advantage.
