LX1
ATG Productions are looking for an LX1 to join the team on PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL with book by GARRY MARSHALL & J. F. LAWTON and music and lyrics by BRYAN ADAMS & JIM VALLANCE on tour in the UK.
Your duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of an LX1 of a first-class Touring production, as such expression is usually understood and includes but are not limited to working with the Associate Lighting Designer to achieve the lighting requirements for the production and the overall manner in which it is to be presented on the stage, including operating the production throughout technical rehearsals and performances, and managing the rest of the LX department (currently planned to be an LX 2, an LX 3 and a tech swing on the days assigned to the lighting department).
You will be responsible for the hours of you and your team, scheduling the week appropriately to ensure that you each get a day off.
Your duties will include relighting the show for each venue and the completion of the load-in (joining from Tuesday morning) ahead of each first performance, as well as get-out following the final performance at each venue.
The Contract will run for around 8 months until the end of Oct 2027.
Applicants must have experience on a touring production in a similar role.
The successful candidate must be available for all performances and rehearsals.

Start Date: Monday 22nd February 2027
Contract Type: UK Theatre/BECTU Agreement.
Weekly Fee: Above UKT minimums.
