Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for an experienced Dresser on the West End production of Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck’s THE LIVES OF OTHERS, adapted and directed by Robert Icke.
Responsibilities include working as part of the team in the maintenance, repair and alteration of all costumes on the production to maintain the look of the production as designed.
Other responsibilities include dressing performers prior to and during rehearsals and performances and other performance-related activities, working as part of an efficient and successful department and liaising with all other departments on the production and associated personnel.
Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional experience in costume, high level of sewing skills, the ability to work under pressure and within a team and good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management qualities.
Experience in theatre on West End production is essential.
