Wigs, Hair and Make-up Assistant
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Wigs, Hair and Make-Up Assistant to work on the West End production of The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov, adapted by Conor McPherson and directed by Ian Rickson for the Harold Pinter Theatre.
Duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a Wigs, Hair and Make-Up Assistant on a first-class West End production.
Skills required include excellent wig setting and dressing, knowledge, and skills of make-up application. Experience in styling of Afro-textured hair and men’s hair styling is essential.
Previous experience in a similar role on a large-scale/ West End production is essential.

- Job Location: West End, London
- Contract Type: Fixed term until Saturday, 9th January 2027, subject to two weeks’ notice by the Producer as per the SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
- Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
- Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks; Alternating 7/ 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
